APS Academy role in the local community goes beyond its role as an academic institution. We pride ourselves for our outreach programs as a means to give back to our community through continuous effort to create positive changes. Our students, staff and management are closely involved in numerous socially relevant activities all through the year. Here is an overview of some of our recent initiatives:
- We have some foundations to help poor peoples.
- Nearly 200 donors were brought together at our school on "The World Blood Donors Day" and 50 units of blood were collected.
- An organ donation camp was organized by interact club in association.
- Dresses were contributed to under privileged children on the occasion of Diwali celebration.
Emergency Preparedness
- Procedures are reviewed for emergency situations on a regular basis.
- All faculty members are trained in Emergency First Aid care and CPR.Teachers regularly review their skills throughout the year.
- In case of a medical emergency, the following procedures take place: First Aid administration, parent notification, and if required, the school notifies one of APS Academy's consulting doctors.
Health Facilities
- The nurse's office is a spacious facility with six beds. It contains diagnostic and treatment devices to handle basic emergencies and common conditions.
- All classrooms contain small First Aid Kits. First Aid boxes and an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) are also available in the Health Office.
